It seems we can
Can you give me an example?
Hi how are you? I just bought your premium plugin but i am always getting this: “Error loading Player: No Playable Sources Found”
This is the file that im trying to use: https://www.mp4upload.com/ba713lh31h6x but it doesnt work and i saw this webiste that use the same server and it works fine http://animeflv.net/ver/44931/kabukibu-1
I also try all the servers that you can see in the link before like openload, mp4upload, yourupload, etc….but i always get the same error that i mention before, what am i doing wrong? How should i add the link?
Thanx
Hi @Sebastian, thanks for your purchase.
JW Player requires always the direct link to the media source, the only exception is YouTube.
If I put your url into the browser what I see is a web page, not a single video.
https://www.mp4upload.com/ba713lh31h6x
The other site is using a simple iframe.
I get it now…but here is the direct link: https://www.mp4upload.com/embed-r4vrkvrl4bn4.html and this is how i put the link in the plugin: http://i.imgur.com/Bnoqy6V.png
And i still get the same error: http://i.imgur.com/Zl1ltQ3.png
Can you help me please cause i dont know what i a doing wrong this time.
Thanx!
Maybe i can help.
I have looked at your link and the real URL to the video (ending with .mp4) ist this:
[video src="https://www7.mp4upload.com:282/d/scxwalc3z3b4quuotwuqqzswknohygn357wjaienbxvlyrp53by6wfrv/video.mp4" /]
but idk if they use a hash to change the link….
Thanks for your reply @anismash!
@sebastian, you can’t add an html page as single video source, you need just the video .
In this page…
https://www.mp4upload.com/embed-r4vrkvrl4bn4.html
… the player is already there and you can’t put it in another one.
What you can play is this content:
[video src="https://www7.mp4upload.com:282/d/scxwalc3z3b4quuotwuqqzswknohygn357wjaienbxvlyrp53cacjqa4/video.mp4" /]
This is another example from my site:
[video src="https://ilghera.com/videos/jw7-player-upload.mp4" /]
can this work with a live stream form wowza? Trying, not sure which source url to use.. thanks
m3u8 or wowza.js..
Hi @peanut. JW Player supports m3u8 streaming but I think a premium license is required.
You can try your source with this tool online:
http://demo.jwplayer.com/stream-tester/
Hi, I purchased your premium but still unable to play. I’m trying to play
1 live stream from wowza (which is a m3u8 link)
or (if live stream is offline) loop a local mp4 file..
Any help?
Thanks,
-steve
Hi Steve, thanks for your purchase.
If I’m not wrong, live streaming requires a JW Player premium license, do you have one?
More informations here:
https://www.jwplayer.com/pricing/
If yes, you can try your source using this too online:
https://developer.jwplayer.com/tools/stream-tester/
Hmm, interesting.. I’m already using wowza to stream live, seems duplicate effort.. Not sure what jwplayer would do additional for us yet. I may try Wowza Streaming Engine self hosted in AWS along with their player to see.. Any experience?
thanks for your help

does/can your plugin work with the wowza player?
