    A related issue (no pun intended), is that the related videos feature seems to only be pulling related videos from one category. So, if Video A has categories one and two assigned to it, only related videos that share category one show up in the related videos overlay, ignoring the second category. It’s like the plugin hits one category and stops. Is this intentional?

    I’ve tried two other plugins that have the same functionality, so this is not isolated to the one plugin. Is there a way that this plugin can display related videos without the category slug in the permalink?

    I’ve tried deactivating a few plugins to see if that resolves the issue. I have identified the ‘No Category Base (WPML)’ plugin to be the cause. I would really prefer that this site not have a category base so that category archive pages live at http://[domain]/%5Bterm%5D rather than http://[domain]/category/%5Bterm%5D. I’m going to test a few other plugins that provide this functionality, however if the related videos overlay function is reliant on permalinks, then that’s an issue I’d like your insight on. Thanks!

    Also, when I inspect the player in my browser the div with the class .jw-plugin-related has no contents inside of it, if that is helpful information.

    Ah, but the download link is only available for self-hosted video (within WordPress?) I see, not videos that are hosted on a different server. We are using mp4 links to a separate video server. Ah, nevermind, it seems to be working!

    I actually had the same question as Sean – do you happen to have an ETA of when the next update might be? We are launching a video site with this soon and need to know if we should have a fallback plan in place ahead of time. Thanks!
