Hope all is well… I am so excited about the new players for WordPress integrating the mobile and the desktop – HUGE! Thank you so much.
However, I am trying to determine how to embed an image on the player so that the screen isn’t blank during the streaming. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Kelli, happy that you like my product!
You just have to use the poster image option.
If you’re using the free version of the plugin, you can set only a default image for all your players; with the premium one, you’ll be able to add a specific poster image for all your media content.
Hope this helps 😉26 April 2016 at 20:26 #1019KelliParticipant
Thanks for the speedy response. The poster image works initially but when you click to listen the screen goes black. You’ll notice that I am using the Poster image option. Example Here: http://compassmedianetworks.com/index.php/compass-live-broadcast/
I did decide to use the “logo” for the moment but would be nice if the image actually remained on the page during the broadcast. I know JW Player is mainly used for video so perhaps it isn’t a priority to have an image for audio.

You’re right Kelly. I made a test using an mp3, not a live broadcast.
So, if the file has an audio extension it will work, otherwise no.
