    We are working with the premium version of this plugin. Related videos were working before, and all of a sudden they are not working. The overlay is just not showing up.

    On the JW Player settings page we have ‘Categories’ selected as the related taxonomy, and all of our posts are categorized by this taxonomy. We have also experimented with the plugin provided ‘Video Categories’ taxonomy, and this does not work either.

    What might be causing this issue?

    Also, when I inspect the player in my browser the div with the class .jw-plugin-related has no contents inside of it, if that is helpful information.

    I’ve tried deactivating a few plugins to see if that resolves the issue. I have identified the ‘No Category Base (WPML)’ plugin to be the cause. I would really prefer that this site not have a category base so that category archive pages live at http://[domain]/%5Bterm%5D rather than http://[domain]/category/%5Bterm%5D. I’m going to test a few other plugins that provide this functionality, however if the related videos overlay function is reliant on permalinks, then that’s an issue I’d like your insight on. Thanks!

    I’ve tried two other plugins that have the same functionality, so this is not isolated to the one plugin. Is there a way that this plugin can display related videos without the category slug in the permalink?

    A related issue (no pun intended), is that the related videos feature seems to only be pulling related videos from one category. So, if Video A has categories one and two assigned to it, only related videos that share category one show up in the related videos overlay, ignoring the second category. It’s like the plugin hits one category and stops. Is this intentional?

    Hi @elizoliva. Thanks for all these useful informations, I will improve the related videos functionality asap.
